Is it just my cat?

I think my cat is the weirdest animal in the world. When I first got him he would ride silently still on my lap when I drove him to his new home and when he was unsure where the litter box was he meows until it is pointed out to him. He also had the weirdest habit of surprising me by jumping in the tub while I was bathing. He just "lifeguards" now I think it's because he's a "mammoth" cat that weighs 18 lbs. I have to hide saltine crackers or he'll make a mess eating them. I will never forget the time I saw him open a box and sleeve of saltines and ever so carfully take out just one just to make a mess. He also woke me up one night, he happend to manage to open a box of elbow macaroni. I kept hearing this weird loud crunching noise and when I went to investigate he was sitting on the floor chomping away at the hard elbows. I just had to laugh. Sometimes he's the typical cat he plays, hides, gets into my linen, and sleeps on my bed with his head on my pillow. However I've never seen a cat try to wear sandles before him or wag their tails like he does. He also is curious like every cat one time when I had a guest she put her bag on the floor and he stuck his whole head in. He climbs into my book bag, boxes, sticks his nose anywhere he can. He is not the friendliest cat. He is no lap cat, really doesn't like to be held and only cuddles and will only let a stranger pet him on his terms. He gives guests dirty looks for sitting in "his" chair. He does not great new people by rubbing against them his way of greeting is to smell their feet and wag his tail. If the person has interesting smelling feet he will sniff their feet as long as posible. Even when walking he will continue to smell the feet. My cat I swear has the most decerning sense of smell I can give him the same flavor cat food that in every way (except brand) is the same and he can smell the difference. Some call it fussiness, but the way he totally inspects his food by smelling it I call it being more prudent about what he eats, and in that way he can be considered smarter than some dogs. A lot of dogs would most likely eat trash if it was put in front of them, my cat sniffs intakes the smell thinks about and if it doesn't smell right attempts to burry it. When my cat has explored the outer hallway he's even made a facile expression that I interpreted to mean "pee---uuu". Cats have a meow for different things (at least mine does) there is the fresh water meow, feed me, get up and pay attention to me, and even a time to go to bed. I think it is hilarious, because if I'm dead tired a war wouldn't wake me up never mind a poor putty-tat. Well the only other cutely odd thing I can think of is the time my cat was sprawled out exposing his belly I got up and place a stuffed panda on him he just looked at it then pretended it wasn't there.

How cute. We have a cat Truman who is also crazy, and acts like a dog. He is full of personality!
