I really don't know how my neighbor does it!
I have an "older" neighbor that has SIX cats. Yikes!! She also works part time. She has 5 females and one lone male all spayed and neutered. I know her cats well, because I had to "kitty" sit for her when she had one of her back operations. She will most likely need another one before the end of the year. She has had a bad back most of her life, but the surgeries are for a more recent injury in which she fractured some discs in her back. Now back to her "puttys" there is Miss Priss/prissey and daughter Ruby Tuesday, Orange cat an overweight male orange and white cat. Then there is India shes a real pretty cat, Alice a "handicaped" cat that has misformed front paws so she hops instead of walking like other cats. Then last but certainly not least is precious little Mandy that she found as a kitten thrown in the snow bank. All her cats at one time were thrown out into the street.
Mandy is so precious and I think the cat is trying for the Guinus Book of World Records for oldest living cat she is currently almost 22 years old and her only major problems is she looks a mess with her matted fur she won't let anyone attempt to get the mats out and a slight heart murmer. My neighbor has four litter boxes and is constantly cleaning them also some of her cats do a "no-no" right on the rug. At night she even shares her bed with these six cats. I don't think I could even get in the bed with that meny.
