What's Next?

Well as some of you already know I have one strange dude cat. He only eats diced or chunky style can food he won't even sniff the pate style. He takes one look and attempts to bury it into the kitchen floor. He loves dried cat food, always has. That is good because that is less expensive. Well recently he has been displaying less interest in his food, I think it is mostly due to how darn hot and humid it has been. However i decided to try a sugestion I got from a neighbor who has 1 cat. I put a little garlic powder in my cat's food just to see what he would do. He did his normal sniffing routine and ate it up. Well I knew I had a stange cat, especially when he wants my cooked carrots and green beans that are in my soup, but this one took the cake. It's bad enough I have to sit and cut the pieces of meat smaller in his can cat food, now there's this. What's next? Heating it up in a microwave??
I definately won't sit and hold his dish for him I absolutely draw the line there.

snowier, I don't find your cat strange at all. I have 3 cats myself and each is very different in their own way. When it comes to table food they will usually ignore the hell out of the family but lookout if we're eating chicken or turkey. They practically pry it out of our mouths and would if we let them. One of them likes Tostitos very much and will attack the arm if not given any, will not eat other types of chips. All like powdered sugar donuts and other pastries or muffins and Cheezits also are a sometime favorite. Gee I could go on and on. Well known bit of info - garlic is good for cats.
